Welcome to Mercury's Day, as they stand on the threshold of entering one of their domiciles.
Today Mercury begins conjoining Regulus (opposite retrograde Jupiter in Aquarius), and the Moon will conjoin Venus (opposite retrograde Neptune).
"Tis a fearful thing
What death can touch.
To love, to hope, to dream,
And oh, to lose.
A thing for fools, this,
But a holy thing
To love what death can touch." - 12th century poem
May you traverse between worlds to find the truths you need, may you discover the power of magnanimity, grace, and operating from your courageous fiery heart rather than your lead-heavy hurt.
"Every one of us must undertake an apprenticeship with sorrow. We must learn the art and craft of grief, discover the profound way it ripens and deepens us. While grief is an intense emotion, it is also a skill we develop through a prolonged walk with loss. Facing grief is hard work... It takes outrageous courage to face outrageous loss. This is precisely what we are being called to do." -Francis Weller
After the stark wake-up call of our ecological crisis we can choose courage over despair, unity over isolation, and path-make our way through this liminal space of ecological grief. We can listen to those speaking power to truth and reorient our compass for a future with possibility.
Let us have grace with ourselves as we imagine and create a different world that is equitable to both the human and more-than-human.
What is your heart speaking to you today?
