The Only Constant is Change

1 min

It's rare that change is an easy (or even openly desired) process. The devil you know is far more comforting and easy than diving into the new unknown.

This passing retrograde season was the process of cold stratification + then the germinating seed pushing through the hard winter soil. The freezing melt-off water dissolves the protective coating of the seed so the seed can grow...

A frozen ice bath that dissolves the illusion of safety (which was truly stagnation, stasis), to then spur the difficult process of a tiny sprout pushing through frozen ground to emerge into the sunlight.

Breaking out of the Underworld is cathartic, ecstatic, and a different kind of terrifying.
