The Sun has entered Pisces, copresent with the ruler of this strange and watery kingdom, Jupiter, and the master of illusions, Neptune.

Storm Eunice hit our part of Ireland hard but then left in a hurry. This morning we woke up to a blanket of snow, disrupting the (super) early spring warmth.

This icy deluge can help countless wildflower seeds stratify, such as my favorite poppies. It will fortify the daffodils and snowbells to grow stronger, and give the hellebores an extension on their blossom time.

What seems like a cold and miserable weather disruption is an illusion that can prevent one from seeing the gifts that ice water bring--more fertility and resiliency.

This upcoming month the Sun and Jupiter are in good stead, with Mercury sprinting to catch up, but Mars and Venus inch closer to Pluto in Capricorn, and then slip into Aquarius with Saturn. Take heart and find the joy between the constant testing of how you enact (Mars) your values (Venus) in the world, with healthy structures and boundaries (Saturn).

What seems like a suddenly extended Winter is the preparation for a vicarious spring.
